New Cell Phone Policy
As announced by Principal Davis during last week's PTA meeting, P-TECH will begin enforcing an updated Cell Phone Policy, which will go into effect Tuesday, September 20th, 2022. Please note the following:
All cell phones and electronic devices will be collected at the main entrance and stored in a protective pouch and locked in carts under adult supervision.
- Each pouch will be labeled with the student’s name, ID number and grade level. Students will be assigned their own specific number that will correspond with the pouch that will store the device.
- Students must show their student photo ID to receive their device before exiting the building. **If a student needs a new photo ID, please contact Mr. Thornton in Room 422. He can also be reached by email at rthornton@ptechnyc.org.
