Beyond the ClassroomIn terms of extracurricular activities, our mission is to provide students with opportunities to engage in the life of the school in a number of different ways. We emphasize activities with academic relevance, but in a way that is less formal and less structured than a classroom. In addition, we tackle gender issues during adolescence with groups targeted at our male and female populations:"Real Talk, Real Men" and "Sista Talk," respectively.Our school is housed within the Paul Robeson Educational Campus, sharing space with Robeson as well as the Academy for Health Careers. As a result, our PSAL athletic teams are shared with these schools.For the 2012-13 school year, we are able to offer the following athletics:
