• The development of P-TECH was led by representatives from each of the three partners: the Office of Postsecondary Readiness at the Department of Education, CUNY's Early College Initiative and IBM's Corporate Citizenship team. As the planning moved forward, contributions were made from a number of other entities, both internal and external to the core group. Along with City Tech, representatives from these offices make up the Steering Committee for the school.

P-TECH is part of Children's First Network 521, led by Dennis Sanchez. We are in District 17 in Brooklyn, under high school superintendent Karen Watts. In addition, as a public school, P-TECH has a School Leadership Team composed of administration, parent leaders, union representatives and other interested parties. To learn more about the SLT and see the school's Comprehensive Education Plan, see our School Portal page.
