I went to Brooklyn College for both my Bachelors and Masters Degrees, majoring in English and Communications respectively.
What did you do before P-TECH?
I worked with UFT Teacher Center. My responsibilities included providing professional development to teachers based on their instructional needs, in various settings including workshops, study groups, and one to one mentoring. Within the aforementioned, I incorporated various technological formats, including the use of Google Drive, to foster collaboration, both in person and online. My last assignment was at the UFT Charter High School in East New York.

One of my main credos, as my friends, former colleagues, and students all know, is “Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!” In addition, apply sunscreen daily. Note: If you have a Vitamin D deficiency as I do from all that sunscreen, take a supplement.
